There is a word you do not hear very often in MLM and that is "retail". If you are like most people you think that generating retail sales in MLM involves going door to door and trying to get people to buy your products. WRONG! Selling your products at either retail cost or distributor is up to you and it depends on how your corporation works. Some corporations will still reward your business for the volume generated, but you will not make the retail mark-up. This is a great option when your MLM prospect does not want to join. When turning a "no" into a customer, this scenario works well. "Mary, I am sorry that you decided not to join our business opportunity. But, because you have been so respectful about it, I would like to offer you our products at the distributor cost. Would you be interested?" Usually you will get a "sure". Now you can turn about 10% of your "no" prospects into customers! Have your downline do this as well, and your business volume will go up even if you are not signing up new people everytime.
